We offer a number of different competitions for members to enter, using different media. Currently we have regular competitions in Prints and Projected Images.
Print Competitions: The sections in the print competitions are:
- Colour Prints
- Monochrome Prints
Projected Image Competitions: As from 2011 there is no section for Slides (Transparencies), so entries in the Projected Image Competition are only:
- Digital Images
Open Competitions: These are where the subject matter of the image can be anything at all.
Set Subject Competitions: Images entered in set subject competitions must meet the definition of the subject.
Competition Rules: All members receive a printed copy of the competition rules upon joining the club. A PDF version of the competition rules maybe downloaded here. The document is designed to be printed double sided on A4 and then folded into a booklet.
Digital Images: For our Projected Image competitions, digital images must be no larger than 500 kb with the maximum dimensions being 1024 x 768 pixels. For guidelines on preparing images for our digital competitions, you can download this file.
Entry Forms: An entry form must be completed and submitted with print entries. You can download and print this file, then handwrite your titles on the form. Or, alternatively, here is a Word document which you can download and type your titles directly onto the form, then print out for the competition.
