We offer a number of different competitions for members to enter, using different media. Currently we have regular competitions in Prints and Projected Images.
Print Competitions: The sections in the print competitions are:
- Small Colour Prints
- Large Colour Prints
- Monochrome Prints
Projected Image Competitions: The sections are:
- Digital Images
- Slides
Open Competitions: These are where the subject matter of the image can be anything at all.
Set Subject Competitions: Images entered in set subject competitions must meet the definition of the subject.

The PDF is designed to be printed double-sided onto A4, then the pages are folded into an A5 booklet.
Digital Images: For our Projected Image competitions, digital images must be no larger than 500 kb with the maximum dimensions being 1024 x 768 pixels. For guidelines on preparing images for our digital competitions, you can download this file: 2009ElectronicImagesGuidelines
Entry Forms: An entry form must be completed and submitted with prints and slides. You can download and print this file, then handwrite your titles on the form: 2008print_slidecompentryform Or, alternatively, here is a Word document which you can download and type your titles directly onto the form, then print out for the competition: Competition Entry form
