by EPCWebmaster on Mar.18, 2012, under Club News
There is a new version of the program – version 1.2 uploaded on the Program 2012 page.
The program for EPC has changed for the following reason: due to the large number of images (both projected images and prints) received for the set subject “Transport” the prints were not judged Tuesday 13th March, they will now be judged next Tuesday. Program 2012
by EPCWebmaster on Jan.06, 2012, under Club News
Our first meeting for 2012 will be Tuesday 17th January. As is usual for the first meeting back each year, members are invited to bring along images that they have made over the break, either bring along on a usb or CD or as a print/s. This is not a competition night, but rather an opportunity to share what we have been doing photographically over the Christmas/New year period.
You can download a copy of the program here: 2012Program(Jan-Jun)1.0.
We are looking for more guest speakers/presenters to fill some of the spots in our program, as well as suggestions for practicals/workshops. If members have any suggestions, please forward your ideas to the secretary, or the webmaster.
Why Compete? – By Anne Emmett, AAPS
by EPCWebmaster on Nov.30, 2011, under Club News
WHY COMPETE ? ………..What do I learn by competing ?
The question was asked after the judging of the E.O.Y. (end of year) prints and digital projected images.
“Why did I not get a better score?” – “I submitted what I thought was my best shot – AND THE JUDGES DID NOT ….. etc. etc.”
“That’s it…….I not doing any more photography……what’s wrong with THE JUDGES ??”
You have to look at this question from two directions.
