We have moved

by EPCsecretary on Jan.05, 2010, under Club News

The Edwardstown Photography Club has moved from the Mitchell Park Neighbourhood Centre to the Clark Building at the Glandore Community Centre, 25 Naldera Street, Glandore. The first meeting for 2010 will be on January 19 and members are asked to bring photos from the holiday period.

The hall is much bigger than our previous premises, so we have lots of room to set up for practical workshops. There is plenty of off-street parking. See pictures below.

Bring cameras and tripods.  If you have a cable or remote shutter release for your camera that would be useful, to avoid camera shake caused by pressing the shutter release button.

by EPCsecretary on Sep.15, 2009, under Club News

We are currently looking at an alternative meeting venue, as we have realised that the current premises (Mitchell Park Neighbourhood Centre) is not really big enough to suit our long term needs.  As we have always been in the Marion council area, we are first looking for a suitable venue close by, but if that is not possible we may have to look elsewhere.

New Edwardstown Photography Club website

by EPCsecretary on Aug.28, 2009, under Club News

This new site uses Wordpress as a platform, and will eventually replace the blog we currently have on Blogger.  Wordpress allows a site to have pages which don’t change very often, and are more or less at the top level of the site, as well as blog entries, which are listed chronologically.  So this should make it easier to update club information or news without having to go to two different sites – ie the blog and the main site.
